A positive attitude is essential to success in any endeavor. We all know this, but generally fail to see that our lives are punished by negativity from every side. We receive nearly 100 negative messages for every positive message everyday. If you don’t believe me, run your own test. Just keep a tally as you go through the day.
We usually indulge in a lot of self talk. It has been assessed that around 1400 words every minute travel in our brains which convey as well as express many thoughts which mold or form our views of the world around us and determine our intellectual state of mind.
Most people I know focus on opinions and attitudes of those around them. They concern themselves with what other people think, and how other people affect them. But the biggest negative force people contend with resides within.
If you like and are comfortable with who you are, then chances are you do not need to work very hard at becoming a more appealing and charismatic person. People who are most comfortable in their own skin are not the people who seek to improve on or alter their personalities.
How do you build a positive attitude? First off, you have to remember, attitude happens on two different levels. There’s your big attitude, and then there’s your little attitude.
